Formation and Characteristics:
Lava beads as the name suggest that are made of lava. They are often called lava stones. They are made up of basalt. Basalt is mainly created from the volcanic eruption. Once the volcano erupts. The lava flows out of the volcano. When this lava cools down it is called basalt. This basalt becomes cold like stone and the beads are carved out of it. Many people like to have the lava beads.
These beads have very good texture. They have patterns of holes and bubbles in them. These holes and bubbles are formed due to the explosive eruptions in a volcano.
The history of lava beads goes back to 19th century. Italians were the first one to use the lava beads. They made the beads from the eruptions from the volcano Vesuvius. They used the beads in their jewellery.
